Simple things...
I've always loved stickers since I was a kid l. I had puffies, foilies, scratch and sniffs, you name it, I had it! Books and books of them! I still appreciate them today, only now I see that they are a wonderful, simple, inexpensive tool that helps me remember Who I am and what God says about me. I find that REMEMBERING to practice the Word of God, for me at least, is the MOST difficult part. Little reminders like this can really go a long way!! Blessed & Happy Friday! 🙏💝

Happy Belated Mama's Day!
It's tough for me to be on here these day with so much in our lives transitioning and as I'm working hard to get my physical health back on track!! but I didn't want to miss the opportunity to share with you what God spoke to my heart this year...Every year is tough for me (having no children but desiring them deeply) but this year came with peace for the first time in a long time.... When I was young, both my mom and I remember I’d say: “I don’t want to be a mom… I just want to be a grandma.” Innocent words at the time. But now, at 50 years old, it kinda makes ya wonder. LOL. Because I don’t have children of my own in the natural sense, but somehow God has filled my life with children I get to love, pour into, help raise in small ways, cheer on, pray over, and be “Aunty” to. And honestly… that matters to me more than I can explain. There are little ones, young ones, and even grown ones who look up to me, trust me, love me, and let me have a place in their lives. And every once in a while, I’ll stop and think, “Lord… You really do have ways of fulfilling things we don’t even understand when we’re saying them.” Isaiah 54:1 says: “Sing, O barren, you who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud… For more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married woman,” says the Lord. I know this verse carries a much bigger promise, but it comforts me personally too. Because God doesn’t only build families one way. Sometimes He gives you children through birth.Sometimes He gives you children through love.Sometimes He makes you an aunty, a mentor, a safe place, a prayer covering, a steady voice, a soft landing. And I love how God can take the places that could’ve felt empty and fill them with purpose, laughter, relationship, and legacy. Maybe I was never just saying I wanted to be a grandma. Maybe somewhere deep inside, I was saying I wanted to love generations. And by the grace of God… I get to. 💛 Love Y'all Be Salty & Stay Lit!
Happy Belated Mama's Day!
It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood!
Good morning my sisters, from Sunny/windy Cochrane. Just wanted to touch base with everybody to say I hope you are blessed today. I put my snow boots away, thinking that snow was all over, and now I hear snow is forecast for this coming weekend! Grrrr. I’m sure farmers and skiers will be delighted, lol. Hope you all have a most wonderful day and once again, blessings to you all. Berni

A little Update :)
well, looks like we'll have to get our generator either rebuilt or buy a used one, as we still haven't been able to fix it. Prasie God we're pluggeds into pwer for the summer! Our new on demand water heater just stopped working ...could be because our solor has pulled in TOO MUCH power! Hah! we're not sure...| We've been asked to help with a marriage seminar our local church here is puttig on (super excited for that!) Slowly, as I can handle the work I have started prepping for us to replace our floor (it was ruined when our old water heater leaked for months without us realizing it)... Looks like I might have some worship opportunities coming up and I started physio therapy to get some mobility back! We've also been enjoying seeing the new baby in our lives! Our Sasha is doing so well with everything the nurses have showed her and I have no doubt, in the home she's living in now, that she is going to be a great mama! WHOOOFTA! That's the short version LOL And I probably missed some stuff but that's the general catch up :) Look, Life is going to throw us things that make us laugh, cry, feel frustrated or angry...it's going to throw us ALOT! Some things easy and some not so much...But praise the Lord we have a God who LOVES to partner with us along the way! Nothing is too hard for Him, and He WILL give us what we need to get through. Sometimes He gives us strength, sometimes endurance and sometimes, we can just fell Him smiling in the Spirit all around us. No matter what we encournter, good or bad, He's there and He's got your back! I'm sooooo thankful to be daughter of the most high who doesn't have to "freak out" when things get tough....I love that I can take a breath, thank Him for His presence, and move forward in confidence that "We've got this!". Have there been any situations lately that have either pushed you closer to Him or threatened to pull you away from Him? What was your strategy to bring yourself back?
