In first-century Israel, shepherds were often considered ceremonially unclean.
They worked nights.
They lived outside the city.
They weren’t the ones invited to religious events.
Yet they were the first humans entrusted with the announcement of the Messiah!! ✝️

God didn’t announce Jesus’ birth in the temple…
He announced it on a hillside.
