Write something
Software
Hey all! I'm in the beginning stages of planning my company. I want to start it on the side while I continue to work for my current employer. One thing I'm trying to figure out is what kind of software everyone's using. So for all your systems, what's everyone running? For estimating, project management, invoicing, bookkeeping, accounting etc? Also include if your focus is more on commercial, residential, industrial. I want to focus on commercial but may do residential in between projects Thanks in advance!

Change orders
We recently completed a custom home project, I verbally told the customer there will be “extras” for all the changes, and they agreed “verbally “ I sent them a bill for 8k and they are crying about it and questioning everything we have done. Great Point- DONT BE AFRAID- write it out and BILL RIGHT AWAY!
I'm Back!
Sorry for going AWOL - I should be back full swing going forward though!
Your Time - Making the Jump
I have been adding more videos and resources to the "Electrical Contractor Basics" course. Here is one of the videos I posted just recently. What are your thoughts on this topic. Many of you will probably have better insight on actually making the jump into your own business than I will (since my dad started it and I am taking it over 20 years later). What are your thoughts? Here is the video and pdf from the course to reference - https://www.skool.com/wiredforprofit/classroom/d8aace83?md=90fc36d4f08341cf842b4f940aedb85d
