People underestimate how physical junk removal really is. If you don’t take care of your body, this business will beat you up fast. Bad lifting, no sleep, gas station food every day—it catches up. You don’t need to be a bodybuilder, but staying in decent shape honestly helps more than people think.

Communicate ASAP 📱
One thing that changed my business: answering the phone fast. Half the time customers just book with whoever responds first. You can have the best prices and nicest setup, but if you take 4 hours to reply, somebody else already got the job. Speed makes money in junk removal. FACTS 🔒

Most customers don’t actually know what junk removal should cost. That means how you explain your pricing matters a lot. If you sound unsure, they’ll question everything. If you sound confident and straightforward, most people respect it—even if you’re not the cheapest. Confidence closes more jobs than discounts do. FACTS.

Don’t be a quitter gang 🫡
A lot of people in junk removal quit too early. First few months can feel slow as hell. Some days the phone barely rings, some jobs suck, some customers waste your time. But once people start recognizing your name and referring you, everything changes. Consistency matters way more than motivation in this business.
