Hey, I’m Alexandra, turning 40 in 2 months🫣 I’m a nurse, a mom of 4 amazing daughters, and someone who completely transformed her life through the power of mindset. My journey wasn’t easy at the beginning, unfortunately it started from a place of deep struggle, but I'm not here to play the victim, I'm here to tell you how fascinating your brain can be 🧠 Nine years ago, I was introduced to personal development through a network marketing company. At the time, I had no idea that I had been "manifesting" something big for years, but having experienced what I'm about to tell you, I understood afterwards how fantastic things can happen when you visualize and paint a clear ''dream'' for your subconscious mind. But at this time I wasn’t chasing ''a dream'', I was chasing an escape to a nightmare. Back in my early 20s, I fell in love with a controlling, psychologically abusive jealous narcissist. For 7 years, little by little, I lost myself…my confidence, my friends, my voice. Nothing I did was ever good enough. He convinced me I was worthless, stupid, that I’d never leave because I had no money, no strength, no way out. And for a long time, I believed him. Until one day, something broke inside me😵 During a trip, he intentionally humiliated me, treated me like you would never treat a human being in front of all his friends. This is when… my mind shut down. I literally couldn't speak for 24 hours… my body and my vocal cords were frozen from the trauma and I had literally no control over it!😱 So that’s when I knew… I had to go. Within 21 days, I was gone. I left with nothing. No money, no furniture, no real friend to support me, just my daughter in my arms and a heart full of fear. But for the first time, I also felt something else: freedom and pride.🥰 Even though I had no idea what the future would hold, I knew one thing…I would rather struggle broke and alone than stay in a golden cage pretending to be happy. The next few months were tough. Healing wasn't just about moving on, it was about rebuilding myself from scratch. That’s when I became obsessed with understanding the power of the mind.
