Love Lives On
I'm different
I always have been
I'm growing and healing
I've learned this is a lifetime journey
No matter where we've been
every new day we can make new choices
to create the life we desire
For a very long time I did not know
or understand self-love
It was not until a near death incident
that the value of my life and life around
me took on new meaning
We have this one precious life
We can make choices every day
We can decide to be happy
We can decide to love and be love
There is no more special gift to
give to the world than to show up
unapologetically your authentic self
I'm not the same person I used to be
Not that she was bad or horrible
She just made mistakes
She learned from those mistakes
and continued to grow and learn
and evolve and invest in herself
I love the woman I am becoming
She has a heart as wide as the world
She is the Crone
She is here to be a lighthouse
She will dance to her own beat
She will dance around the fire
She is here for me and she is here for you
I am different
I always have been
I may not be everyone's cup of tea
I'll just stay over here in my lane
being the badass magical soul
I'm destined to be
I love getting older
It is a privilege denied many
Today would have been my wedding anniversary.
It was a blessing being married to you W.M.
Rest in power.
