Sitting for almost a year 😢

Called the owner of this property and this is how it went:

Me - I’ve been driving past this property for the last 6 months is there a reason it hasn’t sold, she’s gorgeous!

Him - thanks and she is a beauty, should be finding a buyer here soon. how can I help you ?

Me - well are you able to come down on the price at all ?

Him - no not at all it’s a unique property I won’t budge on the price.

Me - were you looking to air bnb this or is this a family home ?

Him - yes this is a family home and I don’t any business or air bnb in this property

Me - Sounds good Sean, thanks for your time and good luck on selling the property, I’ll reach out if things change.

Him - not a problem man thanks for calling have a good day

Ok can somebody tell me what’s happening here because I see an over priced luxury home that’s been sitting almost a year and the guy is not budging on price - why am I not signing to close for my $20k assignment fee on this right now ???

* Somebody is probably gonna look this property up and call the guy and do exactly what I’m thinking in my mind but because I don’t have all the experience and the knowledge I have to miss out 😢 please help I don’t care if I make $5000 on this I want to know what I’m doing wrong so I can do better next time I’m trying to fail fast here people 😩
