Interested in any sites that we could build multifamily on that are 5+ acres in size
(outside of the flood plain) and have access to utilities.
1. Whether or not the site is in a Qualified Census Tract (QCT) or Difficult to
Develop Area (DDA) zone. This isn't a requirement, though; they make the deal
much more likely to pencil. (HUD QCT & DDA Map)
2. An understanding of who owns/maintains the utility lines nearby to the site
3. Good visibility/access onto the site
4. Rent advantage- Areas where affordable rents are cheaper than market rents,
making us more attractive to our potential tenants
5. Harris County - Site Map - Google My Maps - Houston specific map that lays out
areas we would like to pursue. We are currently heavily trying to break into the
Houston market
6. Markets; all over Texas, Tennessee, Indianapolis, Kanas and Ohio
