When you are overwhelmed and cannot focus try this grounding technique: Take a deep breath Name 3 things you can see Take a deep breath Name 2 things you can hear Take a deep breath Look at 1 thing close to you and focus on the shape, size and color for 30 seconds. Take a deep breath You are ok, you are safe, it will pass!
