Hearing 3 knocks?

Ok I know there is a folklore tale of this "deaths knock" - when people explain their experience they mention hearing it in their actual homes. I didnt have that.

I was just starting to drift off to sleep and prior to sleep as I always do, I invited my guides, guardian angel, arc angels and ancestors to communicate with me (they normal do as I am dosing off or during sleep) .. I heard someone make a wee song about asking if I wanted to draw a crystal - odd I know lol, and then shortly after, I heard, in my head, 3 deep knocks.

I never answered that knock an woke myself up as I was very unsure what it was, it was so clear. I wasn't scared though.

Has anyone experienced this and can shed some light on what these knocks represent because I have read so many different things that I dont know what to believe.
