Not prayer OR action.
Prayer Is Not Passive.

What do you do when someone needs help and you're not there?
You pray.
Not because prayer fixes things.
Because prayer clarifies what you CAN actually do.
Pope Francis, Fratelli Tutti:
"I ask God for politicians capable of sincere dialogue aimed at healing the deepest roots of the evils in our world."
Prayer = focused intention.
When you can't be there physically:
1. Pray. Then donate.
2. Pray. Then share their story.
3. Pray. Then call someone who IS there.
Prayer without action = empty.
Action without prayer = ego.
Sanskrit: Prarthana = prayer as intention
Arabic: دعاء (du'a) = calling beyond yourself
Catalan: Pregària = asking for what matters
I pray for Ismail's brother. I donated.
I pray for Gaza. I shared.
Prayer changes MY mind.
Reminds me what I can control: my actions.
Prayer for today:
"May all beings be free from suffering.
May all beings be free to be happy.
May I do what I can from where I am."

Rezas.
No porque la oración arregle cosas.
Porque la oración clarifica lo que SÍ puedes hacer.

Oración = intención enfocada.
Cuando no puedes estar ahí físicamente:

3. Reza. Luego llama a alguien que SÍ está.
Oración sin acción = vacía.
Acción sin oración = ego.
