Learning different stitches
I was thinking the other day about how I learnt to knit; my daughter has picked up her needles again after trying to learn a few years back. When I was at uni, to learn all the different stitches, etc we had to knit square swatches. At the time I thought it was pointless and boring haha but now i wish I had kept them all as a bit of a libary go to especially as I have ended up pursuing it as a career.
I then thought it could be a great community idea to do a knit-along with swatches. It would be a great way to learn new stitches if you're a beginner, or just refresh if you're already a pro. Also, it's a great way to knit mindfully, since there's no stress of finishing anything when it's just a square. At the end, you could either sew them together and make a sample blanket or, like me, create a swatch library.
I'm also considering doing videos to go with each one.
I would love your thoughts? Would this interest you?
I may add it as a paid tier but not sure yet.
