I am so glad you are here. This is a cosy space for knitters & crocheters to make small monthly projects, share progress, and learn together. A little Woolly Nudge 🧶
If you're starting a blanket or a jumper this month, this one's for you. 🧶 When you've got a long cast-on, pop a stitch marker in every 20 stitches. Lose count and you only recount the last 20, not the whole lot. Crocheters, it works just the same on a long foundation chain. Counting to 212 for the third time while someone asks what's for tea is a very particular kind of torture. What's the most you've ever cast on or chained? And did you get the count right first time?

October's here, which as far as I'm concerned makes it official knitting season. Blanket over your knees, something warm to drink, needles or hook in your lap. That's the whole plan for the weekend. 🍂 The wool's been waiting all summer for this. It's been very patient about it. 🧶 What are you snuggling up with this weekend?

Every project bag has one. The thing you were so keen on in the spring, now sitting there politely, not mentioning it. You don't owe it an apology or a finished sleeve. Just one row, to say hello. It'll act like no time has passed. 🧶 Which one's in your bag, and how long has it been waiting? Mines a summer tee that I just never got round to finishing.
