🧶 Skill Builder Monday: How to Avoid Holes in Your Crochet
Have you ever finished a project and noticed random holes where they shouldn’t be? 😩 Don’t worry—it happens to almost every crocheter, especially beginners! Here are 3 simple ways to keep your stitches looking neat and even: ✨ 1. Check Your Tension If your yarn is too loose, your stitches will spread apart and create gaps. Try holding your yarn consistently from stitch to stitch. 🧵 2. Use the Correct Hook Size A hook that’s too large for your yarn can leave noticeable holes. Always check the recommended hook size on the yarn label, then adjust if you want a tighter fabric. 👀 3. Count Your Stitches Accidentally skipping a stitch or crocheting into the wrong spot can create unwanted gaps. Count your stitches every row until it becomes second nature. 💖 Pro Tip: If you’re making bags, hats, or plushies and want a tighter fabric with fewer holes, try going down one hook size from what’s recommended for your yarn. 👇 Let’s help each other learn! What’s one crochet project where you’ve struggled with holes? Share it in the comments, and let’s troubleshoot it together!

Why Your Crochet Page Isn’t Growing (And How to Fix It)
If your crochet page isn’t growing, it’s usually not your talent… it’s your strategy. Here are the REAL reasons 👇 ❌ 1. You’re Posting, But Not Hooking(placing a hook on screen / sayings hook) ❌ 2. You’re Showing… But Not Teaching or Entertaining ❌ 3. No Clear Niche or Vibe ❌ 4. You’re Not Posting for Your IDEAL Customer ❌ 5. Inconsistent Posting Which one is holding you back right now? 🚨 Growth Tuesday: Choosing a Brand Name That Can Grow With You
One of the biggest mistakes new crochet business owners make is choosing a brand name based only on what sounds cute. Your brand name should be memorable, easy to spell, easy to search, and leave room for your business to grow. Before you decide on a name, ask yourself: ✨ Will this still fit my business in 5 years? ✨ Is it easy for people to remember and tell their friends? ✨ Can I use it across TikTok, Etsy, YouTube, Instagram, and my website? ✨ Does it represent the feeling or mission I want customers to have when they think of my brand? Your brand name is the foundation of your business. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but it should make it easier—not harder—for people to find, remember, and trust you. 💬 Let’s help each other out! Drop your crochet business name in the comments and tell us why you chose it. If you’re still deciding, share your top ideas and we’ll give you feedback!
