💬 Community Question of the Day
What are you trying to sell this month? 🧶✨ Drop it in the comments! 👇 Tell us: 🩷 What you’re selling 🛍️ Where you’re selling it (Etsy, TikTok Shop, craft fairs, your website, etc.) 🎯 Your sales goal for the month Whether it’s a crochet hat, plushie, pattern, wearable, digital download, or something completely different—we’d love to hear about it! Let’s support each other by sharing encouragement, feedback, and celebrating every sale along the way. 💕
🚨 Growth Tuesday: Choosing a Brand Name That Can Grow With You
One of the biggest mistakes new crochet business owners make is choosing a brand name based only on what sounds cute. Your brand name should be memorable, easy to spell, easy to search, and leave room for your business to grow. Before you decide on a name, ask yourself: ✨ Will this still fit my business in 5 years? ✨ Is it easy for people to remember and tell their friends? ✨ Can I use it across TikTok, Etsy, YouTube, Instagram, and my website? ✨ Does it represent the feeling or mission I want customers to have when they think of my brand? Your brand name is the foundation of your business. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but it should make it easier—not harder—for people to find, remember, and trust you. 💬 Let’s help each other out! Drop your crochet business name in the comments and tell us why you chose it. If you’re still deciding, share your top ideas and we’ll give you feedback!

🧶 Skill Builder: Master the Ribbed Stitch
This week’s skill is one you’ll use over and over again—the ribbed stitch! The ribbed stitch is perfect for adding stretch, texture, and a professional finish to your crochet projects. You’ll commonly see it used on: - Beanies - Sweaters - Cardigans - Cuffs - Brims - Scarves - Socks - Bags 🎯 Today’s Goal Practice crocheting a small swatch of the ribbed stitch until your rows are: - ✅ Even - ✅ Stretchy - ✅ Consistent in tension - ✅ Neat along the edges 💡 Pro Tip Avoid crocheting too tightly. Working into the back loop only can naturally make your stitches tighter, so try relaxing your grip to keep your ribbing stretchy. 💬 Challenge Crochet a ribbed swatch (or use the ribbed stitch in a project you’re already working on) and post a picture in the comments! Tell us: - Was this your first time trying the ribbed stitch? - What project do you want to use it in next? Every stitch you master gets you one step closer to creating beautiful, professional-looking crochet projects. Keep practicing—you’ve got this! 💕🧶

🧶 Beginner Mistake to Avoid
Don’t judge your project after the first few rows. Many crochet projects look uneven at the beginning. Keep going—you’ll often see everything straighten out after several more rows.

Floating Seams
Hi everyone! My name is Alecia and I am self-taught crocheter for about 2 years. I love to make skirts by crocheting in the round but my seams always float and the seams never line up. I’ve tried many videos and have practiced, but I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Can anyone provide some advice or a video resource they can help with even seams? Thank you mucho!! 🫶🏽

Hello Alecia welcome!! If you are experiencing uneven rounds you are experiencing one or more of these. 1. ❌ You’re accidentally adding or losing stitches 2. ❌ You’re placing your first stitch wrong 3. ❌ Your tension isn’t consistent 4. ❌ You’re not joining rounds correctly 5. ❌ You’re not increasing evenly (for circles) Mae sure when you are doing it Chaco all of these off of things not to do. Let me know your progress.

So first and foremost, no problem I love helping others. I would recommend to go down the list and check off all the things on the list and check off as you go.
