Just at face value of nomenclature and what he is known for - simple meditation starts it all AKA rest!
East and west meet on the basic principle of - rest in reality literally.
I found that rest/meditation wasn’t “not working” when my mind wouldn’t stop or body wouldn’t calm down…I was resting regardless and when I realized that I was able to dig into the logic and feel the results every time. It’s core and key to trauma healing. Like water, air, earth, food, fire, exercise - rest has its own unique qualities that nothing else can do better than it.
Go to rest. It’s the most direct path to putting down the world and resting in reality. Both east and west agree on this core concept
