In case you missed the call. Heres a summary.
Hey all, I've uploaded the habits call & it is currently in the classroom under its own tab. The call is on the long end, so here's a short summary. If you're really interested in making a change in your habits & bettering yourself check out the call, slides, and worksheets in the classroom. There is a ton of good information in there. There are 2 worksheets- The Habit loop Design sheet & Weekly Check-in sheet. Use them as you will. Anyway, here is the quick & dirty. This session wasn’t about motivation or doing more. It was about building habits that still work when life gets busy. The core ideas: Identity comes first. When it comes to making new habits, it starts with setting the standard of who you'd like to become and acting in accordance with that identity. Ex: I am someone who works out consistently. Habits fall apart when we stop acting like ourselves. Consistency begins with staying true to your Identity. Especially on challenging days. Every habit runs a loop Cue → Action → Reward If one part is unclear, the habit won’t stick. Bad days are expected Plan for them. Effort stays, intensity changes. Rewards lock habits in Rewards aren’t treats. They’re signals. They tell your brain, “This action mattered.” Training anchors the day If training is squeezed in, it disappears. When it’s scheduled first, everything else adjusts. Remember to stay in character. Stay Strong, Stay Consistent -AV
