Cheap Yellow Display - Kitchen mini display
Hey Gang,
Thought I would share this, which I built a few months ago.
It's based on an ESP32 Cheap Yellow display that costs about £8-12
All code is ESPHome, which makes it incredibly easy to connect to Home Assistant.
All of the sensor data comes from Home Assistant, and the buttons are also linked.
The display/blacklight turns on/off with the motion sensor in the kitchen, so it isn't on all day.
The Cheap Yellow Displays are great for the price, but they are limited. I tried to get it to display an image, and it kept crashing. When I did get it to work, the display was so low-resolution that it was pointless.
