First build - nearest aircraft display
Hey all! I wanted to share my first build. It’s a display to show the nearest / most interesting aircraft based on my location. It also shows its speed, elevation and which way to look to see it. All coded up with the help of Claude. My parts list was… - ESP32 S3 Board - 64×32 HUB75 RGB LED Matrix Panel (3mm pitch) - 5V DC Power Adapter - 2.1mm DC Barrel Jack Screw Terminal Adapter - DuPont Jumper Wires I have since 3D printed a case to house it in - let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks man! It was a super fun project. 1. I don’t currently have a photo of it in the case… I built it as a gift so I’ve already given it away but I’m visiting tomorrow so I will be sure to upload some photos of it then! 2. I just jumped straight in… not sure I could even tell you what a breadboard is 😆. While I was waiting on the hardware I got Claude to build out a full rendered preview version of the display on the settings page so I could start looking for bugs. But yes happy for you to share, I’ll get some good photos of it in the case the internals and upload them here tomorrow.

@Nick Fisher hey, yes had the 3D printer already, managed to find an existing 3D file that I could modify for my needs
