Deep Research: Open Source Browser Automation Agents
Here's a report I ran a few weeks back, and my thoughts on the solutions mentioned:
- Stagehand - Browserbase and Stagehand were already in my toolbelt when I ran this report. They are still the top choice for browser automation in my opinion, but they aren't free, thus my reason for the research.
- VoltAgent - I tested this and liked it, but it's new, and has some cons because of it. At the time, they had no human-in-the-loop capabilities, but stated it was on the roadmap. Very cool project, though.
- Mastra - This was the best solution for my use case at the time. I like Mastra a lot and will continue to monitor the project.
