āIf your job is to eat the frog, eat it first thing in the morningā
This basically means to tackle the hardest task first thing in the day so the rest of the day feels comparatively easier. Sounds like a fairly straightforward principle but is much harder to implement than expected.
As revision for the upcoming exam season has well and truly started (hopefully), this mindset is a game changer. Having done 6 hours of Normal Distribution work today - something I have put off for weeks - I have well and truly eaten the frog and I must say the dopamine hit after completing that one task is like none other. Now (fingers crossed), the rest of my revision for the night is smooth sailing.
If you have a frog waiting for you, thereās no better time to eat it than now. It may seem like a pain, but trust me when I say - itās worth it.
Work hard, thereās a long night ahead of us!
