Happy Saturday!
What are you all up to this weekend?
I am filming with my children for a popular steel drum instrument that I’m now on a retainer style partnership with. I delivered a ton of content to them a couple months ago and they loved it. I was just invited into their Slack channel.
They offered me my standard rate, but I negotiated with the brand so that they’re not just paying me, they’re paying my children. So they increased the rate by $200. I’ll be paying my boys and putting it in their savings / piggy bank. The concept is going to be hours of filming with at least 36 unique scenes.
Do you work your business on weekends? Do you involve your family in your UGC? Why or why not?
