Dorsal vagal overactivation?
I've been going slow with introducing US stimulation to my R vagus daily since last Sunday. My stimulus dose has been 30s to 90s. I've noticed an increased sense of hopelessness and feeling shut down and almost dead inside. I haven't changed anything else in my daily and weekly routine.
I am recovering from severe neuroimmune terrain collapse and have made great strides, but this has felt very disheartening. Only thing I can think to do is take a few days off to allow the terrain to integrate the coaxing from the US and restart back at 30s without increasing length of time for a while.
Has anyone else had this experience?
