Training camp in Pennsylvania
The Fencing Academy of Philadelphia training camp is from 8/17-8/21 from 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. We have about 6 kids registered ranging from ages 12-20. Agility and running are in the morning followed by laser pistol training and fencing. My kids took laser pistol lessons with instructor Jim Gallagher, he will be teaching at the Pennsylvania training camp on Monday 8/17, Wednesday 8/19, and Friday 8/21. No walk-ins are allowed, registration is open at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc9lXMIN1oi6XWCpl6hvOZWsGaGPd6xi-AAWhc7WlzEMyKCwQ/viewform. A list of nearby housing options (I booked one with a pool if anyone wants to train with my kids) is at https://onedrive.live.com/:x:/g/personal/714ab4f8653d590c/IQDKzRAThVK5RYMARS2zG-zCAXyOSPhQlP8VBFLtinpb1BI?rtime=DdPf-THs3kg&redeem=aHR0cHM6Ly8xZHJ2Lm1zL3gvYy83MTRhYjRmODY1M2Q1OTBjL0lRREt6UkFUaFZLNVJZTUFSUzJ6Ry16Q0FYeU9TUGhRbFA4VkJGTHRpbnBiMUJJP2U9aDJIUHM0
Fencing coach
Thank you for this introduction to the pentathlon community. My husband and I fenced for Columbia University back in the 1990s, and I am currently working as an apprentice coach at Fencing Academy of Philadelphia. We have three kids who all fence -- the youngest one recently started training for pentathlon.
