Before we get started, let's make sure we're building the kind of room people actually want to be in. Not perfect. Not polished. Not performative. Just honest people moving forward together. Rule #1: Move. This is not a museum. We're not here to admire our problems, analyze them from twelve different angles, and hold a memorial service for our missed opportunities. We're here to move. I don't care if it's a workout, a budget, a difficult conversation, a prayer, a book, or finally cleaning out the garage you've been avoiding since the Nixon administration. Move. Rule #2: Tell the Truth. Not your Instagram truth. Not your LinkedIn truth. The truth. The place you're stuck. The thing you're avoiding. The excuse you've been dressing up as a reason. You don't have to impress anyone here. Most of us are exhausted from pretending anyway. Rule #3: Add Value Before You Add Links. This community is full of people with experience, businesses, ideas, lessons, victories, scars, and wisdom. Share them. Teach us. Challenge us. Help us think. If you've built a team, grown a business, fixed a marriage, lost 50 pounds, paid off debt, or learned something the hard way, we want to hear it. What we don't want is drive-by recruiting. Here's the difference: Selfless input asks, "How can I help?" Selfish gain asks, "What can I get?" One builds community. The other builds prospect lists. Share your strategies. Share your insights. Share your lessons. Just contribute more than you collect. Rule #4: Encourage... But Don't Enable. Cheer people on. Celebrate wins. Support each other. But don't help somebody stay stuck. We're not collecting excuses in here. Sometimes the most loving thing you can say is: "Okay... so what's your next move?" That's not being harsh. That's being helpful. Rule #5: No Professional Victims. Life is hard. People disappoint you. Plans fall apart. Bad things happen. We get it. But around here, we're not competing to see who has the best excuse. We're interested in one question:
