How to Use This Space
There’s no right way to be here. You can post a lot, post occasionally, or just read along when that’s all you have the energy for. All of that counts. A few ways people tend to use this space: - Share wins or struggles in the weekly check-in - Ask a question when something feels stuck or overwhelming - Read others’ posts and take what’s helpful - Come back later when life settles (or doesn’t) You don’t need to have the right words. You don’t need to be positive. You don’t need to explain yourself. If you’re unsure whether to post something, it probably belongs here. Take what helps. Leave the rest. You’ll find our Community Guidelines in the feed — please have a quick read when you join.

Community Guidelines
This space is built on trust, safety, and shared experience. A few simple guidelines to help keep it that way: - This is a judgement-free space. Everyone’s capacity, kids, and circumstances are different. - Advice is welcome, but not mandatory. Sometimes people just need to be heard. - No shaming, diagnosing, or telling others what they should be doing. - Respect privacy. What’s shared here stays here. - This is peer support, not professional or medical advice. Share what’s helped you, not prescriptions. If something doesn’t sit right, please flag it. The goal is for this space to feel supportive, safe, and human.

Welcome to Unmasked Parenting!
Hey everyone, and welcome 👋 This is a space for parents who are neurodivergent, raising neurodivergent kids, or both — where we can be mute, loud, messy, and everything in between. No toxic positivity here, just real life, real struggles, and real wins. To kick things off, let’s get to know each other a little: - Your name (or nickname if you prefer) - Ages of your kids - One thing that went well for you this week (no matter how small) - One challenge you’ve been dealing with I’ll go first in the comments to show how it works 👇 Feel free to jump in, share, or just read along — whatever works for you. This community is about support, sharing, and learning from each other.
