Quote: “Sleep isn’t something you turn on at night. It’s something you build all day.” Teaching Moment: Most people believe sleep problems start at bedtime. But biologically, that’s not how sleep works. Your brain decides how deeply you will sleep long before your head hits the pillow. It’s constantly collecting data throughout the day. Light exposure, stress levels, meal timing, movement, and consistency. If your day is chaotic, your nervous system stays alert. And an alert nervous system doesn’t allow deep sleep, it allows survival sleep. That’s why so many people say, “I get enough hours, but I still wake up tired.” They’re unconscious, but not truly recovering. Deep sleep only happens when the brain feels safe enough to shut down. Safety comes from rhythm. Consistency. Predictable signals that tell the body it’s okay to let go. This is also why quick fixes rarely work. No supplement can override a system that never powers down. This is the exact gap we focus on at Vybrant, so I’m glad to have ya ;) P.S.
