The wheel of dharma

When talking about the chakras, we usually talk about the 7 main chakras. In the kybalion there are 7 hermetic principles. But in the wheel of dharma in buddhism the wheel has eight spokes. Does the one spoke not mentioned in the seven chakras and seven hermetic principles relate to another chakra/principle? If so, which chakra/principle does it represent and what are it's teachings?
