Gilgamesh
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗻 '𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗴 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆' 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗽𝗶𝗰 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗶𝗹𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀𝗵! Gilgamesh was the first recorded "diver" more than 4,000 years ago! The cuneiform script on clay tablets recorded his dive underwater to snatch the "Plant of Eternal Youth," in 2800 BC. The story goes that he attached heavy stones to his feet to drag him to the depths of the ocean. He found and took the plant before cutting the rocks from his feet to take him back to the surface. Once ashore, he felt it would be a good time for a nap and fell asleep. While sleeping a devious snake came and gobbled up the plant before poor Gilgamesh could be forever youthful! This tale became the first documentation of breath holding.

It's not what you know, but what you've become. There comes a point when knowledge stops being something you accumulate and starts to be lived. Not just symbols, teachings, or ideas to admire from afar, but something to apply, something to test, something to become. You don't need to be perfect. You don't need to sound profound. Just be authentic. Because sometimes the most powerful idea for someone else isn't found in a book, but in the lived experience of someone walking the path.

A terracotta figurine from the Ubaid period (c. 4500-4000 BCE), discovered at Ur, depicts a stylised female figure with elongated, lizard-like facial features nursing an infant. Formed from fired clay with simplified anatomy and incised details, the figure is often interpreted within the context of early Mesopotamian symbolism, possibly relating to fertility, motherhood, or ritual representation, though its exact meaning remains uncertain.
