TODAY'S WORD
James doesn’t say wisdom is for spiritual “superheroes” only. He says if you lack wisdom, ask God. That means wisdom is obtainable—directly. Wisdom is the ability to interpret your circumstances correctly and choose the right response.
Many people have information but not wisdom. Information says what happened; wisdom says what to do next.
“Without reproach” (James 1:5) means God doesn’t shame you for not knowing. God invites you to ask. That’s a Fatherly posture—He would rather teach you than watch you suffer from ignorance.
Also, wisdom is often cumulative: you ask, you receive insight, you apply it, and experience confirms it. This is why wisdom doesn’t just stay in your head—it becomes your lifestyle through obedience.
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Lord, give me wisdom for today’s assignments. Order my conversations, decisions, and timing. Help me avoid distractions and recognize what matters most. Teach me to walk carefully and speak precisely. Let wisdom produce visible results in my life. In Jesus' name. Amen.
