Calling in the experts

My last attempt to figure out why my YouTube videos don’t grow, I’ve started a new channel from zero. No subscribers. I’m not even promoting or sharing on my socials. Purely testing how the algorithm works pushes the content.

This was the first video. 11 days ago. Had a run for nearly 600 impressions. 3% CTR and 18% retention.

I went for the raw unedited style and am publishing a new one every three days. Straight to the point, just adding value, CTA at the start (subtle), wishing the first 25% of the video and at the end.

My question: why does YouTube test it so little? It stopped at 600 impressions and it won’t move. Not sure if changing thumbs or titles would make much of a difference and it could deceive the viewer for a click bait.
