Purpose Agenda with Tom & Josh is happening in 10 hours
Opportunities to practice abundance, when stuff sucks.
Like every other body part, the hip's uses, benefits, abilities and talents become really obvious when it's not behaving in its normal fashion. I was trying to write this without actually saying "my hip is fucked up and almost everything is a challenge." Ooops, there... I said it. Challenge, challenge - Universal life force, Divine Mother and Father, please bestow upon me your wisdom and grace.... and healing, if you don't mind... so that I may better succeed at re-framing what is happening, what I am experiencing. Thank you for the moments of calm and peace in-between the BS. "I radically embrace now" works... for a moment. But it also reminds me of the pilot Star Trek episode called Menagerie, when Captain Pike (predecessor to Kirk) and a woman named Veena were held captive in a "zoo" and tried to mentally block the Bad Aliens' mind-control techniques. Weirdly instead of love, Veena had discovered over the decades that only primitive thoughts of hate, would block their abilities to read their prisoners' minds. I know compared to some people's fate...those in wars, crashes, ICUs.... I have a decent chance of returning to how I was a month ago. And want to improve even beyond that. What works for you, when stuff sucks, what do you turn to, practice or seek?

Change happens the moment you decide.

IS IT HARD...OR DO YOU JUST NOT NOTICE IT'S HARD, WHEN YOU'RE LOVING IT??
I discovered & have been watching Leila Hormozi on YouTube the past week (love her voice, and delivery) and she was waxing poetic on how real change requires SACRIFICE. Keeping in mind that she's the multi-millionaire CEO of Acquisition.com and LOVES to bust-ass: That "It will take time, and be hard." The mindset shifts necessary for true change take 1.5-2 years for you to reprogram. She says we have to give up thinking it will be EASY. There's no magic bullet. (I totally agree with this one...) Others I've heard have different beliefs: 1) when you're working toward your desired true calling, things flow and it feels easy, not like a struggle. (Maxwell Maltz, Psycho-Cybernetics) 2) When you're on the divine path going the right way for YOU, things just magically appear for you. The universe is working FOR you, not against you. You're no longer swimming upstream. @Tom Miller says it doesn't feel like WORK - work is love made visible. Maybe Leila is talking about massive business success? Or is everybody right? Yes, contrast experiences pop up when we're shooting for the stars; could Leila be referring to that, as what's "hard?" Could Tom's "doesn't feel like work" be because he's just so excited about his mission and true calling? Would the same effort feel different to someone else? He's exercised the muscle of determination for a long, long time. Thoughts and observations please! @Ryan Dalton @Daniel Bowles @Lisa Lopes @Cindy Witt @Lee-Ann Simmonds-Brown @Pia Raybuck @Maryse Gauthier @Jan Valentine Oberholzer
Happiness is...
Kind of a Buddha-like comedian but in the end he resonates with me: "Happiness is your current situation, minus expectations." I love that. 😆 https://www.youtube.com/shorts/iioxYJSVVY8
