The ROAD TO WHOLENESS
Whew… Life has been chaotic, unpredictable, heartbreaking, and incredibly beautiful. Today, I can honestly say, I AM BLESSED. Not as a cliché. Not as spiritual bypassing. But because I know what it feels like to survive trauma—and I also know what it feels like to truly heal. So many people spend their entire lives carrying the weight of childhood wounds, believing their past will always define their future. By the grace of God, I’ve experienced something different. I didn’t just survive trauma… I found wholeness on the other side. For years, I’ve taught others about healing through my clinical training and professional experience. But now, for the first time, I’m opening my heart and sharing my own journey. The road was rocky. The wounds were real. But so was God’s faithfulness. Starting August 24, I’m inviting you to walk with me on The Road to Wholeness: 58 Days of Healing. For 58 days leading up to my 58th birthday, I’ll be sharing the lessons, truths, tears, breakthroughs, and healing principles that transformed my life. Through Lives, Reels, conversations, and practical tools, my hope is that you’ll discover what I’ve learned: Healing is possible. Wholeness is possible. And your story doesn’t have to end where your trauma began. I can’t wait to walk this journey with you. August 24. The Road to Wholeness begins. #TheRoadToWholeness #58DaysOfHealing #TheTraumatologist #HealingIsPossible #TraumaRecovery #FaithAndHealing #MentalHealthMatters #FromTraumaToTransformation #WholenessIsYours #HealingJourney

The ROAD TO WHOLENESS
The Church and The Couch
Well… it’s official! 🎉📖 My new BOOK will be released ON JULY 1st!! The proof is approved, and The Church and The Couch: Breaking the Religious Stigma is finally ready for release! This manual represents a significant milestone in my journey because it is the very first project where I have intentionally integrated my clinical expertise as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Traumatologist with theological research, biblical principles, and evidence-based mental health practices. For years, I have walked alongside individuals navigating trauma, grief, emotional wounds, and spiritual struggles. Throughout that journey, I have often found myself helping people bridge the gap between faith and mental health. This book was born from that work and from a deep conviction that healing should never require us to choose between the church and professional support. My prayer is that this book will challenge stigma, spark meaningful conversations, and equip faith leaders, clinicians, and everyday believers with a more holistic understanding of healing. To everyone who has supported, encouraged, prayed, reviewed chapters, attended my trainings, and believed in this vision—thank you. Your support helped bring this project to life. I’m excited, humbled, and ready to share this labor of love with the world. The Church and The Couch is here. The conversation begins now. ❤️ #TheChurchAndTheCouch #BreakingTheReligiousStigma #TraumaInformedFaith #MentalHealthMatters #FaithAndHealing #TraumaRecovery #SoulPathCounseling #TheTraumatologist

High Functioning Trauma
What I can and can't do as a Licensed Social Worker, and how I'm with my legal and ethical rights to provide coaching and masterclasses via Skool, Nationally and Internationally...
As a licensed clinical social worker, approved supervisor, and experienced educator, you can provide psychoeducational coaching, training, workshops, retreats, masterclasses, and educational programs across jurisdictions when those services are clearly structured as education, coaching, consultation, leadership development, personal growth, or skills training rather than psychotherapy, clinical assessment, diagnosis, or treatment. The key distinctions typically include: - No diagnosis or treatment of mental health disorders. - No psychotherapy or clinical counseling relationship. - No individualized clinical treatment planning. - No clinical documentation or medical records associated with the coaching program. - Clear informed consent and disclaimers that services are educational/coaching in nature. - Marketing language that emphasizes education, personal development, trauma-informed education, resilience, nervous system education, leadership development, healing journeys, etc., rather than clinical treatment. - Referral processes when participants require psychotherapy or clinical intervention. Just an FYI for all who think otherwise!
