Better body position on steep face jumps
I have been working on this jump for a little while and I finally decided to get the tripod out and get some video of it.
It looks like my hips shoot back a little as my bike leaves the lip. I think this causes my legs to absorb the jump and I don’t get as high as I would like to. I usually have a small case on the jump after this one. That case prevents me from finishing the trail.
Does anyone have any mental cues “something I can say to myself as I hit the takeoff” that can help combat this issue?
Is there another problem with my form?
Cheers.
