April is the first month of Q2, and a great time to clean up your social media strategy!
My top 5 recommendations:
- Write out how you make content, from ideation to community management, and write the amount of time each step takes. Anything taking too long? Or doesn't have a strong process?
- Look at what platforms are driving impact right now for the audience you want. Any platforms you're currently using that aren't serving you? Any that you aren't using that would serve you well? Hint: the most slept on platforms are Reddit, Pinterest, and Facebook.
- Do you have fans that engage with everything you make? Have you DMed them to chat lately? If not, do it now! They're your ambassadors!
- Is there anything holding back your content quality? Need a new microphone? Or Adobe subscription? Now is a great time to uplevel or, if you can't fit it in your budget yet, start making a plan to reach that goal!
- How is your 'scroll vs creating' ratio? Are you watching 3 hours of TikTok per day and only spending 1 hour creating TikToks? Maybe it's time to flip that ratio!
