Mind movies and programing the subconscious

Has anyone in here heard of mind movies? it is a concept coined by Joe Dispenza i think, it works on the premise that tv and screens movies so on program you unknowingly by bypassing the conscious mind. you use that function to deliberately create a new movie in your mind that you watch every day that becomes your future present reality. Like brainwashing yourself into your dream life. I am trying it now and i think it does help me feel better, but to manifest not quite sure on it yet. would love to know if any of you have had success with this or a similar method.
