inception and dream sharing

have any of you seen the movie inception? the concept of dream espionage is mentioned that in the military they used dream sharing to train in combat to the death, do you guys think this is a real operation that is used? I feel like this movie is trying to really dig into reality. like maybe we are in a dream right now like they were in the matrix.
