We're In It Together is happening in 4 days
Today's thought
"Opportunities don't happen, you create them" (Chris Grosser). Sometimes we can find ourselves waiting for opportunities to come along but really we have to be actively looking for them to see them otherwise they will pass us by. And we can take advantage of the opportunity if we show up as our best selves. So I have to show up as best I can from moment to moment.

Monday mood
Further to Simone's comment last week - this quote stood out to me today "Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can" (Arthur Ashe). Focusing on what is in our control and making a step forward each day. 🚶🌟

Thought of the day
Sometimes when we don't know what path to take - it's just a matter of taking one step forward on any of the paths we see. Action over inaction. If it is the right path, we will get a desired outcome; if it is not, we have at least gained that knowledge (if not more) - more than if we did nothing.

Happy Monday!
The first month of 2026 is almost over! 😮I'm staying committed to my growth journey - it's for life! This weekend, I was reflecting on a cycle that has the power to lift us or hold us back through self-sabotage. Specifically: Beliefs drive thoughts, Thoughts drive feelings Feelings drive actions Actions drive results I was caught in a cycle with the belief that I was not good enough, not successful. It triggered the inner critic. Thinking that any mistake would hold me back again. The internal criticism, led to frustration and low energy. Not performing at my best. Which in turn meant not achieving the outcome I wanted. To break it? 🔨 I'm treating beliefs as hypotheses. I set my emotion for the day irrespective of the circumstances or events - events are neutral, I can choose to view them in a positive light (which may not always be clear in the moment). And more actions, momentum to break the pattern. Has anyone else been caught in one of the belief/thought cycles?

Book recommendations?
Hi everyone, one of the speakers we've had mentioned The Seven Levels of Intimacy as a good book to read. I've ordered it and look forward to reading it as I'm interested in psychology. it got me thinking if the rest of the community here has any good book recommendations? I've read a several good ones but they're mostly about business and career development, rather than person growth.
