Happy Monday!
The first month of 2026 is almost over! 😮I'm staying committed to my growth journey - it's for life! This weekend, I was reflecting on a cycle that has the power to lift us or hold us back through self-sabotage. Specifically:
Beliefs drive thoughts,
Thoughts drive feelings
Feelings drive actions
Actions drive results
I was caught in a cycle with the belief that I was not good enough, not successful. It triggered the inner critic. Thinking that any mistake would hold me back again. The internal criticism, led to frustration and low energy. Not performing at my best. Which in turn meant not achieving the outcome I wanted.
To break it? 🔨
I'm treating beliefs as hypotheses. I set my emotion for the day irrespective of the circumstances or events - events are neutral, I can choose to view them in a positive light (which may not always be clear in the moment). And more actions, momentum to break the pattern.
Has anyone else been caught in one of the belief/thought cycles?
