you feel it with every bone in your body. you have an inner knowing that you are here to do something powerful. yet sometimes it's so overwhelming on where to begin with such a big mission. how do we market ourselves in a world that is constantly putting content and marketing everywhere? this overstimulation has us in limbo sometimes...wanting to create but at the same time drowning ourselves in the doubt that will people even look at what I am offering? I have met countless healers and business owners...incredible with their craft and their expertise. they are usually hella wise and so talented, yet they hold themselves back. they hide behind their work, they don't really share their authentic self with their audience, they might not even know who they are at the root of it. the fear, the doubt and the worries keep them from sharing their gifts and knowledge with the world. we all come from various backgrounds...going through different life challenges, facing adversity, overcoming obstacles...and that is why we even begin our healing journeys. when you run a business, it will test you every single day. this work is not for the faint and you would never realize that starting a business is actually a self development test. you will question your abilities, you will feel like an imposter at times, you will worry about what the outcome will be. but on the other side of this is something truly incredible. stepping into your full power and potential. showing yourself you CAN learn hard things and overcome the self doubt and feeling like no one is in your corner. you will create the business of your dreams that supports you through all of life's up and downs. you will create a business that fuels your soul and makes you excited about getting up instead of dreading getting up and working for someone else that benefits from your knowledge and talents. this is a huge reason of why I am starting Aura Academy 2.0. my journey with starting my successful wedding photography business taught me so much about myself in nearly twenty years of being in the industry. everything from learning about my self worth and value, having boundaries with clients, delegating and scaling my team responsibilities and building a business that could support me through it all.

Another month is already coming to a close. Time is zooming by. Sometimes it feels like we can’t catch up and there is so much to do and get done. Can things slow down a bit? Well, in some ways yes. But that’s where we have to get super intentional about things. Intentional about our calendars, intentional about commitments and saying yes, intentional about carving out time for rest and recalibration. Because one thing is for sure, time is not going to stop. We have to have the ways to come back home to ourselves after being of service in the world. We have to be able to pour back into ourselves energetically and emotionally because we are all feeling it right now. Feeling the world changing, feeling others’ anxiety, feeling like are we going to be able to do all of the things we need to do? When things feel like it’s hard to catch up, it’s so important in those moments to slow down. Come back to breath, come back to stillness, put the phone down, go for a walk, sit down and have a conversation with someone and practice pure presence. This is how we get our lives back from a system and machine that was designed to break us apart and have us distracted in chasing. I’ve been thinking about this skool account. I’m paying monthly but not utilitizing it in the way I want to. But in the next few weeks I plan to get reset with this and start offering some teachings about energy work…not just personal but in our businesses as well. I really don’t even know if anyone reads these posts. But I want to continue to show up and keep putting myself out there because this is how things build. Yes it takes time but for me it also takes intention. And as I’m stepping into this new chapter as a teacher and leader, I need to get comfortable with trying new things and using these platforms to help in the ways I know how🫶🏼

The world as we know it is changing. And this month has a lot of intense energies that are coming up to surface. If you didn’t know already, we have 7 planets in the sign of Aries. In astrology, this is called a stellium when you have multiple planets in one sign. Aries carries a fiery and passionate type of energy. This type of energy has never happened in history. There is almost a vibe of things never being the same after this time and I can feel this deeply within. So while we may be feeling the pressures to get into action (hello, Aries) we have to also find balance with the influx of all of this go type of energy. At our studio this month, we have some special offerings. Hi! Many of us have been called into action for awhile now...and a lot of us (including myself) have tiptoed around it. Some elements of avoiding the responsibility along with how do I actually build a community where everyone thrives and supports each other? When I began This Modern Collective 2+ years ago, I had a vision in sight. I wanted to create a space where people could come for healing, connecting, lighting up their creative energies and find a sense of community that we often long for but never can find. So I started quietly and on my own with community sound baths and my own offerings. I saw myself wanting to stay playing small when my soul yearned for more depth and eventually I realized it is no longer an option to keep playing small. When I look around and see people connecting, building friendships and starting collaborations- I know that this is part of my path. To create a space for people to really come together in all forms to heal, grow and evolve together.
