Hard win
I filmed my origin story for my YouTube channel yesterday afternoon after about a week of writing and going over the script. This was the hardest video I've made and I found myself trying to come up with any reason I could to not post it. I really don't like sharing a lot of details about my life struggles as a man. It feels like weakness or that I'm in search of pity, neither of which are the case. Sharing some of those struggles in this group is one thing, but putting it out there for everyone to see is a far different feeling. I pushed through a roller coaster of emotions and posted the video last night. I woke up this morning feeling nervous about the video, but also feeling proud of myself for showing that I'm a real person, I'm not perfect, and my channel isn't just a character I'm playing. We all have an origin story and if mine helps one person on their journey I'll consider the video a success. Hope y'all have a great Sunday!
