Agriculture has never been static, it just feels that way until you zoom out.
There was a time in the U.S. when lobster was considered poor man’s food, while chicken sat on the luxury end of the table. Plowing once defined “good farming,” and now many of the most progressive operations are moving toward no till systems. What we accept as normal today is often just a phase in a much bigger evolution.
The reality is simple. Agriculture adapts or it gets left behind. Markets shift, consumer expectations change, and the land itself demands better stewardship over time. The question is not if things will change, it is how ready we are when they do.
So what is coming next? And more importantly, are we building farms that can pivot fast enough to meet what society will demand tomorrow?
And where do you see blockchain supporting these changes the most?
