We talk a lot about pausing but I want to talked about intentional pausing.
Not just stopping once we’ve completely exhausted ourselves… but choosing to slow down before we get there.
Especially around menstruation and peri-menopause, our nervous systems can already feel overstimulated and overworked. Yet so many of us continue pushing because we feel guilty slowing down.
But intentional pausing creates space.
Space to breathe. Space to reconnect. Space to listen to what our body and mind may actually need. Ask ourselves "what is it my mind, body and so truly need right now?"
Sometimes that pause looks like:
✨ saying no to plans
✨ going to bed early
✨ sitting quietly with your tea
✨ spending less time on your phone
✨ choosing rest without guilt
✨ Chexking in with your energy
✨ Going for a forest bath
✨ Journaling
Pausing isn’t laziness.
It’s support.
This is exactly the intention behind tomorrow’s Pause Portal — a gentle 3-day online space to slow down, reconnect, and intentionally pause 💜
There are still a few spaces available if this is something your body has been craving.
What does intentional pausing look like for you right now? 💜
