In honor of spooky season, I tried my hand with a ghost family watercolor. Im really proud if it.

Here are some before an afters of potential stickers I made on procreate. I love how both of them turned out. It had been a year since I designed one of these from scratch. Enjoy!

Today I did some island work with some oil pastels and I think Im getting the clouds down. This time was my first time actually taking my time looking and analyzing color and making patterns. I did mess up on some of the highlighting and shadowing on the mountains but I think I saved it. Im getting more confident on clouds and now I think I just need practice on creating textures.

I started the lesson 2 for Art Foundations yesterday and had fun practicing these. I’m definitely more familiar with pens and I think it shows. Yesterday was practicing lines and shapes. Since I normally practice these as a drawing itself rather than the warm up may be why I’m so used to it. The shapes practice I drew the ones that immediately came to mind. I had the most fun cutting out shapes and gluing them together. I had no patterned paper close to me so I ended up using notepads I had laying around. It was honestly relaxing doing this portion of lesson 2, but that could be because it’s been a long time doing any art. 😓
