Word of the Week~ CURVED This week’s word is CURVED. Curved doesn’t have to mean soft~ It can be graceful~ or distorted Something shaped by movement, pressure, or time. Arches, spines, waves, winding roads, curled leaves, rising smoke, a crescent moon~ or a story that refuses to follow a straight path. What does curved look like through your eyes? Take the word wherever your imagination wants to go. Illustration, painting, photography, sculpture, fiber, collage, writing, digital work, mixed media~ or something completely unexpected. There’s no right interpretation and no required style. ✨ Word of the Week: Holographic Not just the rainbow-foil sticker version (though no shade to that, I own several...🤣). I mean the way a single surface can hold more than one image depending on where you're standing, how the color shifts the second you tilt it, that flicker between real and illusion. Could be literal~ iridescent film, foil, prism light catching at an angle. Could be conceptual~ a piece that reads differently depending on where someone approaches it from, emotionally or visually. Or it could just be the way something catches light and looks like it's hiding a second image inside it. Take it wherever it wants to go.
