Happy Tuesday, Everyone!! Per last week's post, I've been doing some heavy thinking!! Trying to figure out the right way to go. I guess the answer is that there's not really a great one, so to speak. It's just a matter of a choice. For now, I've decided to shut the doors of the College of Apostolic Teachers for new members. The group will remain open. I'll post a few things here and there, but at this point, I have to move in the direction God says move. If you have events, opportunities, or anything else that you want to share, please feel free to do so. As I've previously stated, I'm not just called to schools and teachers. It extends to anyone who is charged with training, teaching, or coaching people. Because of the way this group was initially set up, the growth that needs to happen won't happen here. The platform is not designed for it. Thank you for being here. You don't have to leave. I'll still post once a week for encouragement and updates. Hello Friends! I've had this group for a little over a year and while the group hasn't taken many turns, my life definitely has! I didn't want to leave you in the balance of thinking this was just another flopped or missed opportunity. I've been "in the lab" so to speak thinking, designing, redesigning, rethinking, and making some decisions. When I started this group, I thought it was initially for teachers, in the classroom at church or school, just like me. And to some degree that is still true. However, it's a bit broader. In the past year, I've come to realize that my primary goal is to train the people who train the people. They may be in churches, schools, trainer positions at their jobs, coaches. If you believe in Jesus and teach, guide, or lead people in a way that develops their understanding of something you've mastered, then my job is to teach you. In theory I know what that looks like and what's involved. What I haven't settled on yet, is whether or not this space will transform into that or if I'm switching platforms and designing a new one. Additionally, I want to do events and live trainings, not just live via Zoom, but live like a conference room set up in a U-Shape where we're building, working, and supporting each other for a day or two. And I like nice hotels so these won't be an event at the Motel 6 or somewhere subpar. I have favorites. It's a lot and not a lot at the same time but it really is what has to be done for me to walk out the call on my life and to help you walk out the one on yours. I'll be back soon with more details. With the long weekend coming up, I hope you have plenty of time to rest, relax, and recharge! For me, I'll be putting together life in the College of Apostolic Teachers for the Month of June. It's an acronym for: T - Transformation E - Equip A - Application C - Cultivate H - Honor You'll begin to see more in the coming weeks but here's a hint. We'll be starting with Honor first!
