Balancing VO with life
I'm going to college this fall (yay!). It's an exciting time for me and my family. However, there are things I want to try to keep up with doing while I'm doing college. The problem is, my freshman year (and honestly, it could also apply for the years after) is going to be pretty busy and I'm unsure how much time I'll have for other things in my free time, including voice acting. I want to get a Youtube channel up and running soon, but even if I managed to get that up and did a little in the summer I may need to stop posting while I'm in school. Anyone have any tips for figuring this out? Should I make a list of priorities and cut off the not so important stuff? And does anyone have suggestions as far as doing stuff now instead of waiting till later go (I'm a SUPER bad procrastinator and need to figure out how to be more productive)?

I’ve been messing with this all day, but I think I’ve got it. The color, the central object, and the text will change from video to video, but format will remain the same. I’m wondering if the text works better on the left or across the top

New test thumnail for Youtube
Looking for feedback here. I,m trying to have a standard template for YouTube to avoid confusion. My idea is central focus relating to the story, limited text to create a hook and then a color overlay to identify the tone. Attached is a sample of what I have in mind. The only things that would change are text, color and central focus between videos. This would be for my reading of sleepy hollow. Feedback is appropriated

Audacity
I just downloaded Audacity but didn’t download Musehub…..was that a mistake? I was trying to download an “effect” but it said it “could not connect with musehub” and I am not techy enough to know what to do…… any help?
