Hey everyone, we have a change to the schedule this week. My boys have a football game tonight, so I’m moving our meeting to tomorrow at 7:30 Central. We’ll plan to go why you need a commercial demo if you want to make money with your voice, how to get one, and then do some practice reads and get feedback on them. See you Tuesday night!

My youngest daughter Ally Grace loves the Andy Griffith Show and she wanted to show you all some impersonations on tonight’s call.

Today in English class, I read an excerpt from Lady Macduff in "Macbeth," and since it's set in Scotland, I gave her a Scottish accent. It made me chuckle a little when a peer told me I should be a voice actor. When I first started, I really felt terrible at voice acting, but there has been so much encouragement here, and the practices have been so helpful! I know there are still so many ways in which I can grow, but it was really neat to get that little bit of affirmation today.

Hey everybody DO NOT open any emails from my old "[email protected]" email address. I got hacked and the little rascal changed all my passwords and locked me out of everything. Trying to work with the Google folks to get it, my Google Drive and Youtube channel back, but we''ll see. In the meantime, just don't open anything from that address and maybe block it as well! My new address is: [email protected] Happy Sunday!

Check out this awesome narration and soundscape edit from @Wesley Bryan . Starting your own podcast reading poetry, public domain audiobooks, or short stories (especially if you sound scape them too) is a great way of creating content and monetizing your voice. (the file says "Jake" but it's Wesley's voice and edit) Great job!
