Welcome to Sweet Sorcery.
This is not just a book club. This is a space to arrive, pause, and be. There is no pressure to keep up, finish quickly, or have the “right” thoughts. You are welcome whether you’ve read every page, a few pages, or none. Move at your own pace. Return when you need to. Let the reading meet you where you are. If something lingers—a line, a feeling, a moment—you’re welcome to share under "The Circle Opens" tab. If not, you’re still part of the space just by being here. Bring your favorite drink. Settle in. And stay rooted in you!

📚 Finding Books
There’s no single “right” way to get the book. Choose what feels most accessible for you. 🔹️Some options to use: Local bookstores (new or used) Libraries or digital library apps (Libby, Hoopla) Audiobook or e-book formats 🔹️Sometimes, we may read select sections instead of the full book. I will post these. 🔹️If you can’t find the book right away, that’s okay. You’re still welcome to join conversations, listen, and arrive at your own pace. This circle values presence over completion. Nothing rushed. 🤍

Midway Pause
No need to be caught up. No need to explain your reading. Just notice. As you’ve been moving through the book…was there a moment that stayed with you... A line, a scene, or a character that didn’t fully leave? Not what it means. Not what you think about it. But— what did it do to you? Did it: shift something, linger quietly, feel familiar or leave something unresolved? Take a moment and sit with that. If you want to share...leave your comment below.
Midway Pause
Reading Between the Leaves
In Witchful Thinking, Lucy turns to tea leaves—not for perfection, but for presence. A way to slow down, listen, and notice what’s quietly revealed. Moments like these aren’t about getting it right. They’re about creating space to hear what’s already there. Have you ever used something simple—like tea, stillness, or a small ritual—to listen more closely to yourself? If something comes to mind, you’re welcome to share—a feeling, a moment, or even just a word that stayed.
