Midway Pause
No need to be caught up. No need to explain your reading. Just notice. As you’ve been moving through the book…was there a moment that stayed with you... A line, a scene, or a character that didn’t fully leave? Not what it means. Not what you think about it. But— what did it do to you? Did it: shift something, linger quietly, feel familiar or leave something unresolved? Take a moment and sit with that. If you want to share...leave your comment below.
Midway Pause

For me, Alex made me pause. Not just in what he does, but in what he withholds. There’s something in the space around him and what isn’t said. Especially in what never fully arrives that he never shares to those who need to hear it. It made me notice how much can be felt without being spoken. I am learning in the reading and in real life, sometimes, what’s held back carries more weight than what’s given.
Reading Between the Leaves
In Witchful Thinking, Lucy turns to tea leaves—not for perfection, but for presence. A way to slow down, listen, and notice what’s quietly revealed. Moments like these aren’t about getting it right. They’re about creating space to hear what’s already there. Have you ever used something simple—like tea, stillness, or a small ritual—to listen more closely to yourself? If something comes to mind, you’re welcome to share—a feeling, a moment, or even just a word that stayed.

I find myself coming back to stillness more than anything. Just taking a moment to pause, breathe, and sit with myself. It’s simple, but it helps me reconnect without needing anything extra.
Shared Intentions
In Witchful Thinking, Lucy joins her cousins in a shared wish—calling in change where life has felt stuck. It’s not just the act itself, but who she shares it with that gives it meaning. There’s something about being witnessed in a moment of hope or change that softens the process. It reminds us we’re not doing it alone. Have you ever shared a moment of intention, hope, or change with someone close to you? If it lingers, you’re welcome to share how it shaped you.

I’ve shared moments of intention through prayer, rituals, and manifestation. They all are equally important to me. It’s something that keeps me grounded and connected to myself and my ancestors.
Gentle Check-In
Wherever you are in the reading~you’re right on time. There’s no need to catch up or prepare anything. This is just a moment to pause and notice what’s been landing for you so far. If you feel called, you’re welcome to sit with any of these: - What has stood out to you, even in a small way? - Is there a character, moment, or feeling that’s stayed with you? - What’s your current pace—slow, steady, or just beginning? - How does the energy of the book feel in your body? You’re welcome to share, or simply read and sit with it. We’ll gather gently on Sunday☕

I’m starting to notice Alex has that “merman” energy the author hints at—not literally, but in how hard he is to fully grasp. There’s something about him that feels a little out of reach. I am still trying to decide if he really is a mermaid 😆 Nevermind he is. What’s really staying with me though is Lucy—her faith, her wishes, and her steady drive. The way she keeps going, even when things aren’t clear. That contrast between them feels… familiar.
A Quiet Wish
This month’s reading carries a gentle thread of change—the kind that doesn’t force, but slowly opens. If you feel called, take a small moment for yourself. Sit with a warm drink, or simply rest your hands in your lap. Take one slow breath. Without overthinking, let a quiet wish rise—not something you need to chase, just something you’re ready to soften into. You don’t have to say it out loud. You don’t have to act on it. Just let it exist. Stay with it for a moment…and when you’re ready, return. No need to share unless it feels natural.
